The mission of the Centre for the Study of International Development and Migration (DIM) within the Faculty of Political Sciences – SNSPA is to conduct research and promote knowledge in the fields of international development and migration, aiming to make a significant contribution to a deep understanding of existing challenges and identifying innovative and sustainable solutions.

DIM brings together members of the academic community, experts, and students, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations and international partnerships aimed at comprehensive knowledge and identifying new areas of research in the specified fields. DIM’s mission encompasses influencing policies and practices at local, national, and international levels, thereby contributing to creating a positive impact on communities and society as a whole.

Furthermore, DIM dedicates its resources to informing and raising awareness in society about pressing issues related to international development and migration. To achieve this objective, the Centre has adapted modern communication means and organizes a wide range of events, encouraging debates and interdisciplinary interactions.

Through our activities, we aim to inspire and mobilize a new generation of leaders and researchers in the fields of international development and migration, thus contributing to building a more promising future for all humanity.

DIM’s mission complements the mission of the Master’s programme in International Development and Migration within the Faculty of Political Sciences – SNSPA.
